Comments: Due to its exceptionally beautiful bark, the paperbark maple is one of the most attractive of all maples. It was introduced to euraopean gardens from western China by the plant hunter Ernest Henry Wilson in 1901. Unfortunately, this maple is very difficult to propagate, because seed germination is usually very poor.
